CARTERVILLE - Ronald "Dino" Duane Hickman, 76, of Carterville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, at his home.Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville. Graveside services with military rites will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Murphysboro.Memorial contributions can be made to Youth Golf at Crab Orchard Golf Course in Carterville.He is survived by his daughters, Catherine Jean Biggs and Casey Jean Hickman; son, Bruce Engel; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas Lynn Hickman; plus many extended family members and friends.Ronald worked at Southern Illinois University Carbondale for 31 ½ years in the IT Department.
