PALMSDALE, Calif. - Barwyn William Browne, known to his friends as "B.W.," passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024.Born in Murphysboro on Feb. 16, 1931, Barwyn was a man whose life was shaped by deep family ties, a love for education, an interest in politics, and a profound appreciation for the arts and the environment.Barwyn was the son of Glenn W. Browne and Helen Augusta Mileur. As a young man, Barwyn moved with his family to Los Angeles.He is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Cavanaugh; his wife, Shirley; his daughters, Diane, Pamela and Laura; and grandchildren, Sean, Faith, Emily and William.
