It is with bowed heads that the family, friends, and loved ones announce the home going of Charles " Ollie " Ross.
Born to the parents of Katie L. Tandy and frank Ross in Cairo, Illinois. As a young child Ollie was gifted with all the love and creations of young boys. In grade school he excelled in math and art. He wanted to be a stand up comedian because he truly loved making people smile and laugh. Although, he was proficient in boxing none of his loved ones were sorry he grew up in the ring. For those who knew him, knew he could have schooled Shaq in the art of free throws as he seldom missed a point from the line. As basketball was one of his favorite sports as well. Ollie was a seventh grade graduate of Washington Jr. High and a high school graduate of Cairo High School.
Ollie will be remembered as a loving and caring Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and Uncle, whom enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved and cherished the time he had with his grandchildren most of all. He was lov
