On Wednesday, October 16, 1940, our awesome, all-knowing and omnipresence God released Clarence Edward Roddy into the loving hands of his parents, Austin Nathaniel and Annie Mae (Bell) Roddy in Pulaski, IL. Clarence was the youngest boy (Little Brother) in the klan and the 4th youngest out of the 5 siblings. He attended Banneker grade School down in the grove. Clarence's journey through life was marked by love, service, and hard work.
Clarence did give his life to Christ and attended Ninth Street Tabernacle Baptist Church where he served as one of the Deacons. Clarence is preceded in death by his grandfather Lewis Roddy who was born in 1865 the birth year of Juneteenth, and Clarence's heavenly transitioned date, June 19th 2024 Juneteenth, Hallelujah!, Clarence goes on to glory to reunite with his wife Florence Ann (Miller) Roddy, his parents Austin and Annie Roddy, his sister Justice Mae (Roddy) Ringgold, and his brother Austin (Button) Roddy Jr. Today, as we remember Clarence Edward
