Brian J. Lucas, age 67 of Jackson, passed away on June 17, 2024 at his home.Brian was born on May 25, 1957 in Illinois to the late George Lucas, Jr. and Nadine Flatt Lucas. He attended Carbondale Community High School going on to attend and graduate from Freed-Hardeman University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and, later, became a Resident Supervisor in the Dormitory there at the University and a member of Freed-Hardeman's Developmental Council.After moving to Jackson Tennessee, he was a manager at Western Sizzlin and Catfish Galley. He was a Deejay for 92 FM, worked at DeVilbiss and Porter Cable and was lovingly known as "The Door Man" at South Street Comedy Club before his retirement. Brian loved sports...Especially the Saint Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed Comedy and Movies. He was passionate about music and built an extensive record collection.
